As 2022 has rolled in, I don’t hear too much about New Year resolutions. What I do hear around the salon is chatter about setting goals and intentions– same “ritual”, different verbiage?? Either way you say it, I like to hear it!
Guests are connecting with their stylist, sharing their goals of becoming healthier, more focused, better selves than years past; while our stylists share much of the same. Observing this all taking place, in the chair, with hopes their hair will reflect these new, fresh outlooks on life. And why shouldn’t it?? Why shouldn’t our outward appearance match our inner desires? What new style matches the direction you are headed?? Is it the shaggy layers; curtain bangs; the classic blunt cut; the cropped bangs for curly hair (my personal fave!)? Think about it, because lets face it, when we are confident in our hair, skin and clothing, it will have us feeling on top of the world- ready to rock out those new resolutions….. I mean goals!
